Eternal Tumble

A collaboration with Ruo Tong Zhao (https://ruotongzhao.com/).

This project was part of „The Machine Stops“ in the class of spatial design at UdK Berlin.

The machine continues to operate through human motion, while humans survive in the barren wasteland through the machine’s operation. Both coexist beneath the same flexible, supple skin. Through ceaseless bodily movements in each room they power the entire system, driving the massive organ-like city to roll forward at an incredibly slow pace. Through their endless motion, body and machine search for the legendary surviving flower in the desolate land.

A photography of an installation in an exhibition. The installation consists of a metal table with several abstract looking objects placed on top. Above the table are printouts of what look to be cross sections.
